In the year 2007 a town called New Angeles is destroyed by earthquakes, floods and brutal gang warfares. The bad industrialist Koga Shuko (Robert Patrick) is obsessed by the wish to possess both halves of the talisman "double dragon" which can give magical powers to its owner. The two brothers Jimmy (Mark Dacascos) and Billy (Scott Wolf) are given the order to protect one of the half and all of a sudden they find themselves in a great adventure. With the help of Marian (Alyssa Milano) and her wakeful "Power Corps" they learn to combine their courage, imagination and fighting skills to frustrate Koga's vicious plans.
